I have been blogging about my journey into the world of photography and I will be popping up a couple more in the coming weeks/months as part of my participation in Sanlam’s National Start Something Campaign. I am often approached to participate or promote certain initiatives and my standard approach is to only do so when it is something that interests me or that I instinctively support. Over the last couple of months, I’ve been spending time with a life coach who has been a great help in guiding me. I stay building lists of ideas I would love to translate into reality but never actually getting most of them off the ground. I stay procrastinating. So when I was approached by Sanlam to both start something and blog about it, I jumped at the opportunity.
National Start Something Day is an initiative to encourage us all to start something. The day being built towards is September 2nd and there is an opportunity to both use this to kickstart some of the attainable dreams you have procrastinated on as well as win a little something …. R50,000.
I will be sharing more of my photography experience, in particular the early morning outing to the Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens where we had to implement what we had learnt in the classroom. In the meantime, check the NSSD Facebook poll here
