I am a big fan of The Roots. Have been for many years and so, whenever they release a new album, I purchase immediately, listening to it the first time once I have already bought it. Their last album, How I Got Over, was in my top 5 albums over the last year and generally a month doesn’t go by without me listening to it. Their new one, Undun, is growing on me. Sometimes, I put all 11 of The Roots albums on shuffle and submerge myself in the music, thought and word. With Undun, which chronicles the life of the fictional Redford Stevens , they also put out a short film. Beautifully shot, intense and engaging. Wanted to share.
