For The Love Of A Good Cigar

Being a cigar enthusiast, I have been exploring the landscape more and more over the last couple of years. Towards end of 2017, I wrote an article for Afropolitan magazine on my favourite cigar lounge, Pedro Portia, and what I have been learning about cigars. I also broadcast my Kaya FM show, Life With Kojo Baffoe, at Pedro Portia. Contextualising The Opel Adam

2015 started with work on the launch of the Opel Adam, which is the ‘first shot’ in the German manufacturer’s (although it is owned by General Motors) repositioning of the brand, under the theme ‘New Germans’. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9c-rgtEbJ8 We (Project Fable) were involved in hosting and developing the content for the partner, consumer and media/entertainment launches of the Adam. The Flüds Are Coming

It had a black strap, white face with a picture of Mickey Mouse, his arms the hands to tell time. I was still trying to figure out the whole time thing but had practically begged my father to pick me up a Mickey Mouse watch on his travels. I was more into Disney characters than actually telling time but that was my first watch. Later, the in-thing was a watch with the calculator. It had tiny little rubber buttons, was a bit of a mission to work with and wasn’t allowed in tests or exams, but it was straight out of the future. It was also the last watch my father would buy me because I was...
