I write every day. I have the kind of job that forces me to, in those moments when I don’t really want to. I have this blog. It also needs to be maintained. I play on social media on the daily, using it to engage, get ideas and share thoughts. The 2011 Red Bull Beat Battle was a fascinating merger of styles and genres as 8 dance crews, primarily from Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban came together to battle for the title Champions. From Pantsula and Krumping to freestyle and Isbhujwa, the rowdy and enthusiastic crowd watched Artistic Intelligence take the title in a tightly contested final with Ubuntu from Cape Town.

Sway Brings UK Blackstars

Sway Dcypha has been carrying the flag for Ghanaians at the forefront of UK hip hop for some time now. His mixtapes are legendary and his relationship with Akon's Konvict Muzik was, in my eyes, supposed to truly launch him onto a full global stage.
